This has been a great summer for me! We went to visit family in Ohio for 3 weeks. It was perhaps the MOST memorable 3 weeks of my life.
We started the trip by going to Akron,OH and staying at my Cousin's place for about 5 days. Within those 5 days, I took a day trip to Niagara Falls. Yes, spontaneous, I know...But isn't everything I do Spontaneous?!?! We had a wonderful time at my cousin's place for a House Warming. Most of the extended family was able to make it and words can't express how special the time spent together meant to me.
After Akron, I went to Chicago for 3 days with my brother (Vikas) and sister-in-law (Priya) to visit Priya's family. We celebrated Priya's birthday by going to a Patel Family Picnic! Yes, it was very different, but WOW! I had a blast! The food was superb to say the least and the company was even better! :) Again, it was an awesome time! It was great seeing so many people after such a long time and,of course,meeting some new friends :)
After Akron, Niagara Falls, and Chicago all in the first week, I was finally ready for Cincinnati!!! :) The first week was spent with my 2 kids along 4 nieces and nephews staying at my mom's place. It was a busy, exhausting week, but so many smiles and laughs! We watched Madagascar 3, went to Newport on the Levee, ate at so many fascinating restaurants including TOM & CHEE (Gourmet grilled cheese place), went swimming, watched movies at home, played cards, etc, etc,etc... The list never ends. I just love seeing the kids all spending time together. They are all so close to each other and they get along really well. I do hope their friendships and bonds last forever.
The 3rd and final week of our trip included some more extended family coming in to town from Florida and New Jersey!! Words can't express how much I enjoyed myself! Words can't express how much WE ALL enjoyed ourselves! It was such an awesome and amazing week which included Limo Rides, more eating out, Shopping, Skyline, King's Island, Ted, Magic Mike, etc, etc..... again, the list never ends!
I can't believe 3 weeks flew by as quickly as it did :( I have such a HUGE, LOVING family that time always passes so quickly. I really had a WONDERFUL time and
THANK YOU SO MUCH to each and every one of you who helped me make another memory to cherish forever :)
